Maintenance

Follow these simple care and maintenance guidelines for your Mamre Floor products to preserve its beauty for generations to come.

For everyday clean up use a dry micro fiber mop and clean light stains by rubbing with a damp cloth. Do not use furniture polish or any type of spray or oil. These will cause the floor to become slick and dull the finish. Over time too much water can damage the finish and cause the joints to swell, so avoid using water to clean your floors. Use a good-quality cleaner made specifically for hardwood floors.
Spray each section of your floor with cleaner and then use a clean micro fiber pad to mop the area. Spray as you go and mop following the grain of the wood.
Optimal humidity level falls in 45-60% range. As long as humidity does not fall lower than 45%, no gaps at all will appear between the planks. Installing a simple humidity meter will allow you to monitor and control humidity levels in your home all year round.
Groom your dog’s nails regularly to prevent gouging and surface scratching.
